Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hyreblock (“Hyreblock”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, stores and shares information when you visit our website or use our AI Hiring Intelligence Platform. The service supports recruiters with job-description analysis, resume extraction, candidate matching and hiring insights.

1. Information we handle

Depending on how you use the service, we may process account and contact details; workspace and usage information; job descriptions; resumes and candidate contact details; employment, education and skills information; extracted fields; match scores, explanations and related hiring outputs; and technical, security and diagnostic logs.

2. Why we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, manage workspaces, extract and organise information, compare candidate profiles with job requirements, produce matching results, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures and meet applicable legal obligations. We aim to collect and use only information reasonably needed for these purposes.

3. AI processing and model improvement

Hyreblock uses AI systems to assist with extraction, matching and hiring insights. Outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed by a recruiter; they are not a guarantee of a candidate’s suitability and should not be the sole basis for an employment decision.

Hyreblock intends to support both recruiter-specific fine-tuning and shared platform model training. These are separate purposes from processing a resume to perform a particular hiring task. We will use personal data for training only where the relevant purpose, legal basis, notices and authorisations required by applicable law have been established. Uploading a resume or accepting general service terms does not by itself mean every form of model training is authorised.

Where appropriate and feasible, we apply data minimisation and de-identification. Removing direct identifiers does not necessarily make information anonymous. Training can cause information to be reflected in model behaviour, and deleting a source document does not automatically remove information already incorporated into model weights. We will document applicable retention and deletion processes and will not promise model unlearning unless it is technically and legally supported.

4. Recruiter and candidate responsibilities

Recruiters are responsible for having the authority and lawful basis to upload candidate information, providing required notices and obtaining any consent or other authorisation required for their hiring and training instructions. Hyreblock will handle requests and notices for processing purposes for which it is responsible. Depending on the activity and actual arrangements, the recruiter and Hyreblock may have different responsibilities under applicable data-protection law.

5. Sharing and service providers

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, file storage, background processing, security and AI inference or model hosting. The providers configured for a particular deployment may include Clerk, Neon, Vercel, Render, Upstash and RunPod. The providers involved, their roles, processing locations and retention practices can vary by configuration. We do not claim that all information is stored in India unless that has been verified for the relevant data flow.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the service or users, investigate security incidents, or establish and defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information as a standalone data-broker product.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed for the stated purpose, the active workspace, service security, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Retention periods may differ for active resumes, match results, account records, training datasets, model artefacts, backups and security logs. Backups may remain for a limited period before being overwritten. Deletion requests will be handled according to the applicable law, the responsible party’s role and the technical characteristics of the relevant data and models.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service, which may include access controls, workspace isolation, restricted production access, encryption in transit, secret management, monitoring and incident-response procedures. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your requests and grievances

You may contact us to ask about personal information, request correction or deletion, raise a concern, or exercise rights available under applicable law. Requests may need to be directed to the recruiter who controls the relevant hiring activity. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify and route a request.

9. Cookies, children and changes

The website and service may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security and functionality. The service is intended for business and recruitment use, not for children. We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the updated version with a revised date.

10. Applicable law

This Policy is intended to be read consistently with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules and provisions in force at the relevant time, as well as applicable information technology and cybersecurity requirements.
